responsible for all ui/ux design and asset production, working alongside a technical artist for implementation into unreal’s UMG system. integrating the interface into a project with a very distinct existing visual style was a fun challenge, especially since the visual rules were so bold and unique.

stray gods is a BAFTA-nominated fantasy musical game set against a wonderfully contrasting background of ancient greek mythological stories and a cyberpunk-esque palette. working within the design rules established by the (wonderfully talented) art director, i set about developing a style guide and type, colours and styles were chosen to extend those two sentiments simultaneously.

as stray gods is a narrative game, development on the dialogue system, song interface and journal displays also went through several iterations to meet the ideal for the team in terms of accessibility, style and functionality.
